It's official...

Last Friday afternoon, John and I were sitting in McDonalds while Caleb was playing and we were discussing the future job hunt.  After talking with Grand Junction we both new it wasn't for us.  The job just didn't sound right.  So there in McDonalds John made his decision.  It was awe inspiring to be sure!!  Just kidding.  It was neat to finally be settled on a place.  Shortly after that John left for work and we got an envelope from Medford.  It was a contract!!  I couldn't believe it.  Here we had just decided that this was the place and then bam, we have a contract.  Well, needless to say John has signed it and sent it off.  When I was looking over the contract, yes I open Johns mail, I started to cry.  I was flooded with emotion about the past, about the future, and about our little family.  Stokelie asked why I was crying and I told her it was a happy cry, but that daddy has been working so hard for so long and it is finally paying off.  I am so proud of John and am excited for Oregon.  

I had a relater come and tell me everything I need to do to get our house ready to sell.  It isn't anything too big, just a lot of little things.  So, we are going to get started on that soon.  We already knew we were going to be taking a hit on our house because of the market but the relator told us how much she would list it at and man, we are going to be down ALOT of money.  Michigan just isn't the place to sell a house right now.  

I am so excited for the future.  I never would have guessed that at the end of this we would be in Oregon.  I guess we go were we are needed, and I have learned that throughout the years with everywhere we have lived, with the exception of Brooklyn.  I still don't know what I was supposed to learn there.  Anyway, enough babbling from me.
